I’m planning to expose me and my music more online, and the past couple of weeks I’ve been running around researching and what not about how to go about doing it. Damn there’s all sorts of theories and debates, but at the end of the day it’s all about the music right? The best way to promote myself is just by putting my music out there..

I rewrote the song about 6 times, and it was originally gonna be a really underground rap song with alotta punchlines just rapping about how dope I was, but the first 2 drafts I recorded just didn’t inspire me so I left the beat alone for a while. When I was in Indonesia for 2 months (doing a journalism internship) I had alot of time to myself to write, and this whole idea for the song popped into my head out of nowhere.

I had the chorus ‘I want that love that they telling me about’, and my head started drifting from those words..the idea is that everyone wants love, but do they know what they want? for the most part: fuck no, and I remembered these 2 stories I had heard about when I was in Japan. The second verse I heard directly from a friend, when she told me somebody she knew went to jail because she ‘flushed’ an unwanted baby down a toilet. Pretty crazy stuff ey? well I think stories like this should be told, and aren’t told nemore in the rap bullshit they come up with as of recent.
